Each and every year, once a week, the programme invites and provides a public forum for university professors, researchers and other notable figures in Romania, specialists in their fields, to give lectures that cover Romanian history, cinematography, language, literature, anthropology, philosophy, drama, poetry, culture and civilisation. The talks are given in both the English and Romanian languages.
This year, the special guests of the conferences will be delivering lectuers on:
- Romanian history – Mr. Adrian CIOROIANU (Ph.D.), historian, politician, journalist, and essayist, Dean of the Faculty of History, University of Bucharest, UNESCO ambassador for Romania and former Foreign Affairs Minister
- Romanian cinematography – Ms. Irina Margareta NISTOR, film critic and translator
- other fields – to be announced
